About this Event

Sondela returns to Nairobi for the third time, bringing our five-year celebration back to a city that has always welcomed us with open arms. On 4 December, we return to KODA, one of Nairobi’s standout club spaces, for a night rooted in Afro House, Afrotech and the community that has made Kenya feel like home. Headlining are AFROKILLERZ and ARGENTO DUST, joined by Sondela’s own CLEIDO and a strong local lineup featuring CHEFFK, GHEDI, HIRIBAE, SIIRSKI, TINA ARDOR and VIDZA. The night also celebrates the growing relationship between Sondela and Kenya’s creative scene, with GHEDI & HIRIBAE recently joining the catalogue through ‘Masaa’, while TINA ARDOR previously released ‘Kumurera’ with the label. With local favourites at the heart of the bill and five years of Sondela behind us, returning to Nairobi feels less like another tour stop and more like coming back to family.
